CM Punk and Jack Evans won't be on tv next week, but i'll be watching thanks to them

CM Punk single handedely altered the face of pro wrestling with his "i'm a Heyman guy, and WWE is run by a bunch of morons" worked shoot promo.  This Sunday will be his last match in WWE.

Last week, Jack Evans was trending worldwide on twitter during his spotfest on Impact Wrestling, and followed it up with much of the same last night on PPV.  He didn't win the contract, and most likely won't be back.

Where these two men end up is anyone's guess.  Punk goes to Japan and ROH, probably.  Evans continues to work in Mexico, most likely.

But the influence that CM Punk's words had on the WWE Universe, and subsequently the WWE Brass will not be soon forgotten.  WWE storylines cannot ignore the IWC any longer.  We have entered the era where "Well if you read it on the internet, then it must ACTUALLY be true."  WWE knows fans are reading the rumors, and they are using CM Punk as the guinea pig for a very interesting experiment.  When's the last time Vince fooled the IWC?  Hmmm, never?  Looks like they might be onto something here...

And Jack Evans' aerial display on Impact and at Destination X serves as a reminder that fans like to see wrestling that pushes the limit.  Fans like to see something that they have never seen before.  The high flying movement circa 1994 with guys like Sabu and Rey Mysterio Jr. has come full circle.  A new generation of fans have risen, and they want to have their minds blown.  And the long time fans just want to have their minds blown, again.

So to recap.

- CM Punk let the cat out of the bag.  In this case the cat was kayfabe.

 - Jack Evans reminded TNA fans that wrestling is still evolving outside of Universial Studios.  & maybe, just mayyyyyybe, management took notice too.

What does this means for me?

CM Punk engaged my interest in WWE programming, and watching Jack Evans and Low Ki WRESTLE on TV is fun.

So here I am.  And on the couch I will be, come Monday and Thursday nights.
